Community Partnerships

We continue to seek and build strong partnerships with stakeholders in our community to achieve and maintain our mission. Our partnerships allow individuals with physical and mental health related disabilities to gain respect, engagement and inclusion while supporting their rights.

Residential Program

CARES residential program has been in operation since 1987 starting with Le Chemoi Group Home, currently accommodating 8 residents. In 1996 La Maison Roderigue Small Options Home was constructed and is currently home to 3 residents. Our third residence, La Residence Cap Rouge opened its doors to 4 residents in 1997. In total CARES supports 15 residents in these homes.

The Green Door

Is a non-profit organization that links persons with physical and mental health related disabilities to the community through various social enterprises, education, interaction and personal skills building.

The Green Door also works to educate the general public on the skills and abilities our participants possess.
